Our Elected Leaders, our Elders:
Shane Burchfiel, married to Lana, and they have three daughters, two of whom are at Christ Classical Academy, and their oldest attends Dyersburg High. A graduate of Southern Seminary, he is a full time farmer and serves FPC as the Session Clerk, a Sunday School teacher, and on the FTF Leadership Team. He enjoys traveling, duck hunting, the St Louis Cardinals, and eating Chick-fil-a chicken biscuits.
Willis Chapman, married to Melodee, and they have lived in Dyersburg for 20 years. Their four children graduated from Dyersburg High School and have all graduated from college. Melodee is the Teaching Director for the Dyersburg Community Bible Study class and serves on the board of Christ Classical Academy. Willis works full time designing hydraulic systems for industry. They are passionate for the truths of the Bible and the Reformed faith. Willis’s desire is that his life will be a fulfillment of Jeremiah 3:15.
Dr. Troy Kerber, married to Helen. Two words: Teeth and soccer. A native of Indiana, Troy moved to Dyersburg in 1998 when he and Helen married and he started practicing dentistry. They have four children, all of whom are avid soccer players, and Troy coaches. Their oldest attends Dyersburg High School, having graduated from Christ Classical Academy, where their other three attend. Helen serves on the board of Christ Classical Academy, and Troy serves on the FTF Leadership Team, and he leads missions trips annually with Hope for LaGonave, Haiti.
Quintin Little, married to Carol, have three children, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Originally from IL, he’s retired and has been a church member since 1974. He oversees maintenance and upkeep of First Presbyterian Church and Christ Classical Academy school. He also helps with recording of church collections and day to day bill paying. He enjoys duck hunting, watching sports, and piddling in his workshop.
Miles Shatzer, his wife Alice, is waiting for him in their eternal home. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, they’ve been blessed with three children, five grands, and two great-grands. He was granted a NROTC scholarship to Ole Miss, and upon graduation followed with three years active duty service in U.S. Navy. He retired from a career in public and corporate finance and accounting.
Dale Milner, married to Sharon. He retired from teaching English at Dyersburg High School. They have two children and two grandchildren. Dale and Sharon have green thumbs and keep the flowers and landscaping at FPC beautified.
